Tikva accompanies and supports patients (with emphasis on single-parent earners, young mothers who have cancer) both during the difficult treatments at the hospital and in assisting and treating the various needs of patients and their children during recovery at home.
Tikva raises funds for medicines for people who do not have them, accompanies those who have difficulties in government institutions and hospitals, and especially supports those patients in times of difficulty and crisis.
Tikva assists in food, essential goods and financial contributions to families who go through a period of economic difficulty stemming from a variety of reasons, focusing on single-parent families with small children throughout the year and specially on Sabbath and holidays.
Tikva was blessed with generous donors, some of them food companies that supply groceries to collection points, where they are packed into packages that are distributed to those who really need them.
Tikva is active in the framework of children and youth in disadvantaged areas, in order to direct the wonderful and charming children who were born into a complex and unsupportive environment, which will enable them to get on the “high road” and integrate into society.
With a help of our wonderful volunteers, Tikva provide enrichment activities and thematic lectures on the one hand, and personal guidance to those who need it, on the other hand, the results of this activity are evident in the integration of children and youth in various settings – both in schools and later in significant military service.
